Winnie in the City!!

Sorry I have'nt posted since my mom was in town. We were quite busy and had the best time and now I am sad because I miss her. I think we took her to almost every part of New Orleans, good and bad!. We went to the French Quarter on Monday when it was like 100 degrees. It was hot as hell but we had a great time shopping we went in almost every store, the French Market, and Jacks Brewery. Mom had to learn fast that we could'nt contribute to every needy person that asked even though she wanted to! We also had to get updated on one of the hottest fads in New Orleans Water Meter Jewelry. They are making necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, even wall hangings with new orleans water meters on them. Who knew that the water meter would be famous wtf....?

We visited City Park and even Ryan was amazed at how much work they have done it really looks great.

We had lunch with the in laws Tuesday who makes the best muffelattas in new orelans. Tuesday night we took her to famous Buck Town to have dinner at Deanie's which is always fabulous. Wednesday morning called for some beignets at cafe du monde and more shopping!!
