I just finished reading Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. If you have never read the book you need to. It was written in the 60's but this was my first encounter with the book. At first its one of those that its not so bad you will quit reading it, but not that great either, but before you know it, it has your complete attention and you can't put it down! The setting of the book is in New Orleans which makes it even better. Toole's words come to life so well you can almost smell the "aroma" of the French Quarter as you are reading it!!
So go get the book & read it!
Thats all for now! I have 3 days of work and then I am off to the beach for 6 days and I can't wait!!

Reall no one has commented on this book yet!!??!! I read it in High School and liked it, but I know a lot of people couldn't get into it. It is a very interesting read, I might have to pick it up and read it again. Another suggestion since you are reading steamy stuff at work! I just read "The Other Bolyen Girl" when I went to the beah. Finished it in 4 days, couldn't put it down. It was steamy, and really intreguing since it is for the most part historically correct. But don't watch the movie, the movie didn't portray the characters correctly AT ALL!-T
