Hannah Grace

Hannah Grace (my 3 year old cousin) who was diagnosed with cancer spring 2008. Currently she is at Children's Hosptial in Birmingham, AL. There she has finished her final round (6 total) of chemo including a bone marrow transfusion. Hannah Grace needs our HELP. She is in dire need of platelets. They are continuously giving her blood and platelet transfusions. If you live in the state of Alabama you can donate the platelets. If you been out of the country for less than a year you can't (like giving blood). Giving platelets is the same process as giving blood. It does not matter what your blood type is. How to give your platelets.. 1. Call the Red Cross at 1-888-905-3344 2. Tell them that you want to donate platelets and you want to be a DIRECT DONOR FOR HANNAH GRACE HARRISON. 3. They will take down your information and will call you back with a time to schedule the donation. Marci and Jarrod appreciate your help in this matter more than you know. Please pass this message along to all your friends and family that live in Alabama. IF you live in the Dothan, AL area, they are working on setting up the same deal with Lifesouth. More information about Lifesouth will be coming soon. Please keep praying for Hannah Grace and the Harrison Family.

My Neck My Back!

I think I had a little too much fun this weekend and I am really paying for it.Lau's bachlorette
party was Friday night and of course I indulged on way too many rainstorms and hurricanes and therefore danced like a maniac. Not to mention I wore new boots that I got for Christmas.
My neck, my back, my thighs, and my feet are still aching. But I guess all that matters is that we had a great time and I looked cute in my new boots!
Ryan and I have been playing the wii all day. We borrowed several games from Lau since she is knee deep in wedding planning and parties, which leaves no time for her wii. So far I would suggest getting Wario Smooth Moves and Trama Center. They are both addicting.
So I am back to my patient who I left on the OR table with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Tootles!

Skinny jeans I am coming back!

The Christmas cards have been sent and some returned
The presents wrapped, opened, and some returned..
The holiday food was prepared and eaten
and now my pants are not fittin!!
So yesterday was officially the start of the first diet of 2009!!
I am feeling pretty good about it though but it is only 107 minutes into day 2!

We rang in the New Year at the Rehab. Not as patients... Ryan works at a drug and alcohol rehab. It was Ryans last night after working 21 days straight, through all the holidays. So I visited where we could ring in the New Year together. We had a nice little dinner after all the patients were snug in their bed.

Hope everyone's New Year is off to a good start!
