Things that make you go ugh
I’ve been feeling like there’s a bit of a rain cloud over my head lately. Which in turn ruins my blogspiration.
I only want to blog when my life is, well perfect!
While I could be a deceptive blogger and only write about ponies and rainbows in an attempt to make you all think I feel peachy, but let’s be real with each other!
So in the spirit of all things Eeyore, I present to you an incomplete list of things that drive this girl nuts (and then some)…
persistent negativity
fighting with my husband
unorganized chaos
waking up and having to pee 30 minutes before my alarm goes off
being cut off by cars
stepping off of an elevator to discover a horde of people waiting like vultures to get on
checking my voicemail
excessive and unnecessary emoticon use :)
rude and unhappy cashiers
when Cafe Roma is out of hummus
spam mail
having to press one for English and then getting someone who can barely speak it!
being late (this excludes work and parties)
being out of my awaken aromatherapy spray
hemorrhoids, I have never had one but my husband has one!
being hungry
wanting to sleep but can't
That's all for now! I do feel some sunshine peaking through this rain cloud. I am heading to the beach in the morning!

Prayers Answered!
May has been awesome thus far. Ryan got accepted into nursing school and will start in August!! We are ecstatic, this was his third attempt at applying. He met the qualifications each time but so did about a million other students so he is finally going to get his turn.
Sorry for not updating about Hannah Grace sooner but she has been doing great. She has been out of the hospital for awhile now and only has to go in for a few clinic visits a week to check her blood and platelet levels. The pic was her lap she walked in our hometown's relay for life for cancer survivors. All her scans are cancer free!! What a blessing!
Hope you all are able to soak up some of this beautiful sun this weekend. I have work tonight but then I am headed to the big city in the am to have a quick visit with my mom!

Bring it on May!!
1. some friends of ours bought a bar
2. had a kick a$$ 26th b-day party
3. attended my first catholic mass
5. fell in love with a BMW almost bought it, but then came back to reality
6. had several fun fishing adventures, unfortunately not very successful
7. had some serious wii tournaments which always end in painful wii wrist
8. lost some friends, gained some, and reconnected with some old ones
9. realized Ryan and I really love Acme Oyster house
10. became really addicted to facebook, myspace is so last year!
11. my bff from AL is visiting NOLA frequently (what can I say I am the matchmaker, fingers crossed!)
Overall I have to say the last couple months have been kinda crazy! I have probably laughed more and cried more than usual! But its over now I can only live and learn and hope others will do the same!

Maybe a little too much fun this was our feet after going out dancing after the wedding. ewwww!!
Now I am really jealous because they are living it up on the beach in St. Lucia.
Miss you guys!
Hope you are having a great time!

-I hope your cake is the cake of your dreams and someone packs you lots to go!

Hannah Grace
Hannah Grace (my 3 year old cousin) who was diagnosed with cancer spring 2008. Currently she is at Children's Hosptial in Birmingham, AL. There she has finished her final round (6 total) of chemo including a bone marrow transfusion. Hannah Grace needs our HELP. She is in dire need of platelets. They are continuously giving her blood and platelet transfusions. If you live in the state of Alabama you can donate the platelets. If you been out of the country for less than a year you can't (like giving blood). Giving platelets is the same process as giving blood. It does not matter what your blood type is. How to give your platelets.. 1. Call the Red Cross at 1-888-905-3344 2. Tell them that you want to donate platelets and you want to be a DIRECT DONOR FOR HANNAH GRACE HARRISON. 3. They will take down your information and will call you back with a time to schedule the donation. Marci and Jarrod appreciate your help in this matter more than you know. Please pass this message along to all your friends and family that live in Alabama. IF you live in the Dothan, AL area, they are working on setting up the same deal with Lifesouth. More information about Lifesouth will be coming soon. Please keep praying for Hannah Grace and the Harrison Family.

My Neck My Back!
I think I had a little too much fun this weekend and I am really paying for it.Lau's bachlorette
party was Friday night and of course I indulged on way too many rainstorms and hurricanes and therefore danced like a maniac. Not to mention I wore new boots that I got for Christmas.
My neck, my back, my thighs, and my feet are still aching. But I guess all that matters is that we had a great time and I looked cute in my new boots!
Ryan and I have been playing the wii all day. We borrowed several games from Lau since she is knee deep in wedding planning and parties, which leaves no time for her wii. So far I would suggest getting Wario Smooth Moves and Trama Center. They are both addicting.
So I am back to my patient who I left on the OR table with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Tootles!

Ryan just flubbered the satellite up and we can't watch TV
I have to work tonight, wtf is my boss thinking making me work a Friday?
Just a couple of my complaints at the moment!! Hope your weekend is fantastic!
Weigh in is tomorrow so we will see how I am doing! I haven't cheated at all......
Well I did have a diet coke tonight after sans caffeine for 3 days, but oh well.

Skinny jeans I am coming back!
The Christmas cards have been sent and some returned
The presents wrapped, opened, and some returned..
The holiday food was prepared and eaten
and now my pants are not fittin!!
So yesterday was officially the start of the first diet of 2009!!
I am feeling pretty good about it though but it is only 107 minutes into day 2! We rang in the New Year at the Rehab. Not as patients... Ryan works at a drug and alcohol rehab. It was Ryans last night after working 21 days straight, through all the holidays. So I visited where we could ring in the New Year together. We had a nice little dinner after all the patients were snug in their bed.
Hope everyone's New Year is off to a good start!
