I am back to work tonight and boy do I hope its better than my last week at work. Lau and I ended our work week last Thursday morning at Mrs. Maes. If you are not familiar with this fine establishment its a bar open 24/7. So what better way to relieve the bad night stressors of work than a cocktail at 8am, followed by some so not healthy Mickey D's!

Mardi Gras is in full swing here. We weathered the cold today through four parades. I think my feet are still frozen. I love this time of year. Great bands, beads, moon pies, and lots of alcohol to keep you warm!

Yesterday was Taco Tuesday at the Graffia's. Ryan had a stressful day & I had a great day shopping got lots of deals. Victoria Secret semi annual sale makes me happy!! Anyway thats not what this post is about. So I got some festive decorations (not at VS get your mind out of the gutter, at party city) Zoe was our own little Mariachi band & did an excellent job. I even cooked the tacos too & they were pretty good I have to say. So today is back to work Wednesday hope your week is off to a good start if not oh well the week is half over!
OK I know I have been letting you guys down lately sorry. I know you don't know how to act without me around, right? Went and visited the family in Coffeeville for several days, I will post some pics for you momentarily. We celebrated my grandmother's 80th birthday and my moms birthday as well but I won't say her age. They both act younger than me. They can both out shop, out talk, out laugh, and out do me, any day! They are just alike, so fun to be around and can make anyone smile no matter what kind of day you are having. So here's to a wonderful mother and grandmother. I can only hope to be as great as you guys!
On a less cheery note, Ryan's grandfather had a stroke the other night while playing bacci. Let me say he is as spry and active 86 year old as I have ever seen. So we have been busy visiting him in the hospital. Physically he is ok, but it has affected his cognitive ability and speech somewhat. We can understand about every ten words he says, unless its a curse word and that comes out clear as a bell. Which is kinda odd cause he never really cursed before. Who knows, but the therapist have been working with him but he gets aggravated at times because he can't say what he is trying to say. We hope and pray each day will show improvement!
Hope your week is going great! Don't take your family for granted, no matter how crazy they are. If they don't live close by, give them a call!
I am about to curl up on the couch on this cold Tuesday with some cappuccino and a good book, for a little while anyway!

I am at work working hard or hardly working not sure which one. I am really playing with my iPhone Ryan got me for Christmas. I love it!! Hands on Internet access any where I go. Not too much fun typing long blogs though my fingers are a little too fat for that!

Just thought I would write since I haven't written since last year! hahaha not funny oh well! Hope everyone had a fun and safe New Years! Ours was memorable as always. Don't know why but every New Years I tend to get emotional. We went to Rock N' Bowl to see Tad Benoit play and bowl in the new year. Well I suck at bowling and Ryan had to be at work at midnight. For some reason I didn't want to leave his side. So needless to say I went to work with Ryan and we rung in the new year at the rehab with the patients and their families! I am much better now and looking forward to a great year!
