Meet me under the Mistletoe!!

The Mistletoe is hung and the Christmas tree is decorated as obnoxious as I could make it. There is nothing traditional about our tree, but would you expect anything less? Every branch is weighted down with way too many ornaments. There are feathers, birds, and even a monkey and much more!! Tia said it could be described as obnoxiously pretty or pretty obnoxious take your pick! She finally picked a name for her poor dog after trying out a few each day. The dog is so confused but is now the proud owner of the name TD!! So we tried to get the dogs in the Christmas spirit by letting them be Rudolph and Santa but they were not too impressed!!

Did you miss me?

So I am alive I know its been awhile I have just been so busy. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! We spent thanksgiving at Ryan's parents it was memorable and then we both headed off to work. Our jobs are great but unfortunately always open with no regards to holidays. I didn't get to enjoy Black Friday like I usually do I spent it on the road headed up to Coffeeville to see my parents. After a quick visit with them and some much needed sleep I headed back to NOLA to go see Molly Ringwalds with some friends. Yesterday found me with a hangover and girls day seeing the Nutcracker and having some Mexican food sans the margaritas for me!! Today I am off to finally do some Christmas shopping! So thats the short version of where I have been, ok!
p.s. the couch finally arrived and it is awesome!! You should come and visit so you can see!! Love you guys!!

Memories

So the weekend has been kinda boring but relaxing. Ryan and I moved the old couch and love seat out to curb tonight for the garbage men to pick up tomorrow. So now we have no couch until Friday so as I sit on the hard floor I am thinking we should have waited but I don't think the garbage truck will come Thursday when it normally does b/c of the holiday who knows. So we will be chilling on the floor this week as we watch TV. After we got the couch on the curb I decided we needed to sit on it one last time to reminisce some of our memories with the couch. So Ryan and I are sitting in the front yard on the couch reminiscing and a car drives by I am sure they wondered what in the hell we were doing but who cares! We had lots of memories with that couch but we are on to better and bigger things!! Fun times!! Ryan thinks someone is going to get the couch tonight off the curb he swears it is still good and we didn't really need a new couch. I on the other hand disagree, well if you have never sat on the old couch then just watch this video and you will be able to relate with me!!

Love, Life, & Dogs!

Our seven days of no work is coming to a close but it has been fabulous!! Ryan and I have got to spend lots of quality time together and we have both survived! (Love you! Honey!) We made our first large purchase as a married couple. We are now the proud owners of a beautiful, comfy leather sectional with a chase lounge. Can't wait till it gets here the day after Thanksgiving. Our couch we have now you sit down and you get lost in it and getting up is a whole other story.
Today I went with Tia to Gulfport to pick up her new puppy and made a stop at Dirt Cheap of course. He is so cute we are still debating on names. He kinda looks like a Grimlin, but she may name him Bacchus. Zoe is still getting used to her new cousin and doesn't quite know what to think. Hopefully they will become bestest friends!

Party Pooper

So I already told you about all the shopping I did to finally find the perfect outfits for Ryan and I to wear to the engagement party last night. By the way Ryan didn't wear either shirt I got for him I had to go take them back yesterday and get him another that was up to his standards. Anyway we got all dolled up last night and had been at the party for maybe an hour and I got sick!! I had to go to the car thought I could shake it off, but by the time Ryan came to check on me I was sweating bullets and in the fetal position my stomach was hurting so bad. Don't really know what the deal was but this is the second episode I have had like this. They don't really last that long but they hurt like hell and I am not one to miss out on a party. By the way the little bit I was there it was Great!! Complete with one of New Orleans finest jazz band, great food, and a full bar. Does it sound like something I would miss ummmm no!! So Ryan brought me home and put me to bed, I insisted he go back and enjoy the party. He says he didn't have fun without me, how sweet is that??
Today I feel much better and we have had a really great day even though the Saints lost :( . We took Zoe to the French Quarter to see the sights. She was bad as usual and barked way too much but was so sassy in her red and zebra leather jacket!

Its Friday!!

Its Friday.......... Not much going on in the Graffia household tonight. We are getting ready for Kady and Seth's Engagement Party tomorrow night can't wait!! The girls and I went and had manicures and pedicures and got the eye brows did. Which was fun but Julie came away without one half of her eyebrow and I ended up with black toes. But hey hair grows back and I am going tomorrow to get my toenails repainted. I got the cutest cocktail dress today at the mall for the event and got Ryan two shirts for him to pick his fav. Much to my surprise he didn't like either of them so we will see if he goes shopping in the am or decides to wear his nice pink shirt I got him! I am off for seven days and so is Ryan. We are very excited our off days have not been falling on the same days here recently so we have been seeing each other in passing. Hope your weekend is fun and spent with the ones you love!!

boring !!

Today was quite the boring day got caught up on some sleep and I of all people actually cooked dinner tonight and I have to say it was pretty good!! Ryan is off to work and now Zoe and I are home alone! Hopefully I can get motivated to finish the spring cleaning I started a couple days ago. I guess that would be called fall cleaning now but who cares.

Never Again!!

Ryan has been begging me for like three years to watch the exorcist and I have refused!! Well last night I finally gave in and we watched it. OMG!!!! Now I am home alone and can't get this little girl out of my mind. I guess it doesn't help that I am googling the shit either. What would I do without google. I even google myself but thats another blog. I am going to hurt Ryan when he gets home from work in a couple hours I am sure I will still be awake. I love scary movies but not ones about exorcism. Its just too real for me. I think we had the biggest fight of our life when we watched the last movie that involved the E word. I don't even like typing it. Because after the movie is over Ryan loves to act it out, voices and all and freak me out even more. Since then I had vowed never again what was I thinking???

Halloween was fun but let me just say I am glad its over. The Wilma costume has been retired!
Went to yet another Halloween party last night with Betty and Barney, (Fred had to work) it was great made it an early night and was home by midnight! So this morning I am taking down the pumpkins and bringin out the turkeys! My mom got me the cutest turkey chair covers I can't wait!! The house is a wreck. Ryan and I cleaned all week for his birthday party. Now I wonder why we did. It was quite a challenge living with three grown men for four days and only one bathroom. They take longer showers than I do. So my goal for today is to restore order and cleanliness to the house.
